Charlie Griffith is a Park Ridge native, born and raised. The youngest of three boys and raised in a Christian home, Charlie accepted Christ as a young boy in children’s church on a Sunday morning. In high school Charlie began taking bass lessons and the rest is music history...in the making.
Charlie graduated with a music degree from North Central University and is married to Rebecca; they’ve known one another since their days in church youth group. They live in Park Ridge and enjoy baseball games (especially cross-town classics), going fishing, and music. Charlie can’t wait to utilize music and the arts to empower others and to see the Gospel in action.
Mike was raised in Wheeling and began following Jesus at a young age. There were times when the path wasn’t clear, but there was always a certainty as to what life would hold, a life of ministry, following God’s call. As a college student studying design and journalism, Mike left what he was doing to pursue ministry training.
After graduating with a degree in Biblical Studies from Christian Life College, Mike served on staff at Northwest Assembly of God in various capacities that included college ministry, small group coordinator and graphics director. He is married to his incredible wife Erin, who helps keep him sane, especially as he runs his design and marketing firm. They are enjoying life with their two kids, Griffin and Elin and when not cooking together, watching the Bears or traveling, they can be spotted walking to Starbucks. Mike and Erin desire to see families and individuals be transformed by the Gospel.
Zach was born and raised in St. Louis with his two sisters. While he was physically reared in St. Louis, his heart lied in Chicago as a staunch life-long supporter of the White Sox. Raised in a Christian home, Zach recieved Jesus as his Savior as a young lad and recommitted his life in middle school when he was baptized. It was the example of Christ's love through his relationship with his parents that led him to see the importance of God as the center of the family. He graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri with a degree in Government and immediately left for Washington, DC to completed a Master's in Public Policy from George Mason.
While at undergrad, Zach met the beautiful Shayna and finally convinced her to marry him in 2007. They live in Arlington Heights, where Shayna is a hairdresser. While in Washington, they volunteered with their church's Children's Ministry. Shayna and Zach cannot wait to begin meeting and partnering with the families of Chicagoland.
Mark was born in Chicago, raised in Arlington Heights, and is a life-long Bears’ fan. He was raised in a Christian home to a father who was/is a pastor and author and is the third of four boys. He asked Jesus to be his savior as a boy. From a young age, Mark has felt an undeniable call to ministry.
He graduated from North Central University, in Minneapolis with a degree in youth ministry. While there, Mark’s passion for discipleship and for those in need developed more and more. Mark is married to Kara, his high school sweetheart. They live in Arlington Heights and recently welcomed their daughter Noelle, into the family. Mark and Kara enjoy Seinfeld, Portillos and can’t wait to see Jesus change the lives of those throughout their hometown.
Todd born in Pennsylvania but considers Chicago home. He was raised in a pastor's home with two older sisters. When he was 5 years old God called him into ministry, specifically with hurting teens and as an evangelist to the lost.
He attended Valley Forge Christian College for Youth Ministry & Counseling. While there, Todd did everything from living in the inner city and working with at risk kids to traveling with his youth ministry team to camps and youth rallies. He also met his beautiful wife Alisha. They reside in Algonquin and lead Campus Life in Lake Zurich. Together they have a strong passion for the neglected, lost & and hurting of Chicagoland.
Oscar's passion for creating amazing and inspired eye candy that connects the individual with God, as well as his constant saturation of pop culture makes him our go to guy. A self-styled video producer and resident of Buffalo Grove, Oscar began making award-winning media as a high school student. His desire to see the Gospel creatively and effectively communicated has led him to work with many churches and non profits as well as schools and universities to help them engage the culture around them. To put it simply, Oscar longs to see men, women and children be aided with technology and creativity in order to worship Jesus.
When he's not producing graphics and video, Oscar can also be found with the Habitat worship team as one of our worship leaders. During his freetime, you can find Oscar having dinner and sharing laughs with family or friends, tweeting about life, culture and Apple, and catching up with his DVR.
